Better protection when fighting field fires – directly from the firefighting vehicle
Our retrofittable spray bars add a simple and robust area wetting option to tanker fire trucks. Typical applications include vegetation and field firefighting, preventive wetting of paths and verges, cooling of roadways, and rinsing off contaminants (e.g., removal of oil spills).
The spray bar is permanently mounted on the vehicle and fed by the existing centrifugal fire pump. Several spray nozzles create a wall of water mist in front of the vehicle. It is conveniently controlled from the driver's cab or pump room, allowing the crew to continuously spray water as they drive slowly past without having to manually guide the jet pipes.
